Mission

The beginning of the 21st century has shown how unprepared we are to respond effectively to threats caused by:

• wars in the vicinity of our national territory or in the European Union
• natural disasters such as floods and hurricanes and, on a larger scale, the negative changes in our climate
• epidemics of serious diseases
• violent migration phenomena
• unauthorised hostile acts by third parties against the economy and administration of our country and the European Union perceived as internal and external threats.

Therefore, as funders of the FBC, we have taken on the mission of promoting solutions to protect our country's population from threats, as well as promoting good practices to continuously monitor threats in order to minimise or prevent them.
These activities focus primarily on the security and resilience of societies.
